ForestFinest Consulting contributed to a GIZ workshop on finance mechanisms in Honduras
ForestFinest Consulting made a contribution in the GIZ workshop on finance mechanisms for private sector investment in water resources management, biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services. At the global level, separate agendas have been set for biodiversity and ecosystem conservation as well as integrated water resources management. However, an important challenge lies in the creation of synergies between these key topics. In this context, private sector plays in an important role, which is why incentives for its commitment must be more closely considered. Services of ForestFinest Consulting are directly linked to these claims. In the frame of the workshop, Germán Rodriguez, head of FFC’s Latin American office, reported on our company’s solutions and environmental investment opportunities which contribute not only to environmental conservation but present a way to ensure business sustainability. Hereby, nature investment becomes an added value for companies thanks to the implementation of tools such as insetting and offsetting.
